Outdoor space enables for entertainment throughout the day, with evening sun captured by a Northwest facing private courtyard and deck. The Northeast lakeside patio area is equipped with a double-sided open fire place and BBQ, and overlooks the swimming and spa pool.

Recycled jarrah and macrocarpa wood were used throughout the house for their naturally contrasting colours, including construction and in-built joinery. Old materials and Junkyard treasures were combined in an otherwise modern setting to create the feel of a rustic, yet contemporary warehouse.
The use of tilt slab concrete panels in construction helped achieve significant sound insulation and storage for passive solar heating.
