Glenbrae House

A contemporary family home in Wānaka designed by Sorted Architecture,  and built by Wavish Building with a focus on quality craftsmanship and low-maintenance living, the home pairs clean architectural forms with a warm material palette of brick and cedar cladding.

The carefully considered layout creates a strong sense of connection throughout the home, with a welcoming entry leading through guest accommodation and utility spaces before opening into a light-filled living area. A bespoke kitchen by CABINETree anchors the open-plan living and dining spaces, flowing seamlessly to the lounge and a sun-filled window seat.

Privately positioned in its own wing, the master suite offers a quiet retreat, while additional flexible spaces provide options for a media room, office, or extra bedroom. Outdoor living extends naturally to a landscaped courtyard, reinforcing the home’s relaxed connection to its surroundings.
